VMQ O-Ring Product Description

The VMQ O-Ring features a hardness of 50A and is capable of operating in temperatures ranging from -22℉ (-30℃) to 392℉ (200℃). With a circular cross-section, these O-Rings are circular in shape and are commonly used in a wide variety of sealing applications. They are designed to provide a pressure and fluid seal between cylindrically shaped, overlapping mating surfaces, making them ideal for use in engines, faucets, flanges, valves, and various cylinders.

Made of silicone rubber, these O-Rings are known for their wide temperature range and excellent resistance to ozone, weathering, and aging. Standard silicones offer resistance to water (up to 100°C), aliphatic engine and transmission oils, as well as animal and plant oils and fats. However, they are not resistant to fuels, aromatic mineral oils, steam (short term to 120°C is possible), silicone oils and greases, acids, or alkalis.
