Description: Crafted from M2 (6542) high-speed steel, the round threading die boasts exceptional durability, toughness, wear resistance, and cutting performance. It is designed to process, correct, or clean external threads and is suitable for common thread processing of stainless steel, aluminum alloy, cast iron, copper, iron, aluminum, and plastic materials. Ideal for maintenance and repair tasks involving pipes, boards, and machinery.

Featuring a conical locking hole that ensures a secure fit without loosening, this threading die can re-thread existing threads in hard materials like metal and create new threads in soft materials such as plastic. The surface is coated with grease to prevent rust, ensuring a clear and easy cutting process.

To use the round threading die, pair it with a die stock (also known as a die handle or die wrench). Align the positioning groove of the die with the fastening screw in the middle of the wrench, insert the screw into the groove of the die, and tighten it securely. For effective chip removal, remember to reverse the die every 1/4 to 1/2 turn.

When tapping threads, apply a suitable lubricating oil to the cutting edge of the die. Ensure that the end of the bar stock is chamfered at a 1*45 degree angle, avoiding overly large chamfers that can impede cutting. Additionally, the bar diameter should be slightly smaller (approximately 0.05mm-0.15mm) than the nominal diameter of the desired thread to prevent difficult cutting and damage to the die teeth.
